  "Death of a Good Man--We are pained to announce the death of Mr. Charles Hungerford, a resident merchant of Keachi. He recently returned from a trip to New Orleans, was immediately thereafter taken sick, and after hovering between life and death for several days, breathed his last a 2 o'clock Tuesday morning. He was buried the next day by the Masonic fraternity, of which he was an exemplary member. Truly a good man has passed away--one who won the friendship and esteem of all with whom he was brought in association, and this, surely, is enough of praise."
