a. Note:   She died of CHF Obituary: Mrs. Virgie Hendrick, 80 years old, one of Caddo Parish's oldest residents, and mother of Dr. J. A. Hendrick, secretary and treasurer of the Highland Sanitarium, died Friday morning at 9 o'clock at the home of her son, W. N. Hendrick, in Summer Grove, after a long illness.
  Funeral services will be held from the home of her son in Summer Grove Saturday at 2 P. M. with the Rev. B. F. Wallace, pastor of the Parkview Baptist church conducting the services. Internment will be in the Summer Grove cemetery, under direction of the Wellman funeral home.
  Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons. The grandsons are Lofton Hendrick, Malcolm Hendrick and Lyman Nichols.
  Mrs. Hendrick is survived by four sons, Dr. J. A. Hendrick and A. G. Hendrick, both of Shreveport, W. N. Hendrick of Summer Grove, and A. L. Hendrick of Hallsville, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. B. F. O'Neal of Shreveport, Mrs. J. R. Nichols of Summer Grove, and Mrs. R. A. Binger of Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
