Note:   !I have a letter in my possesion written by Ruhammah to her brother James in Louisiana dated October 31, 1890. !In the letter she discusses: 1) How her daughter Carrie has passed her teaching exam. 2) John & Ruhamma moved to Hephzikah in 1885 and had several lean years. 3) She mentions another daughter (Zeffie) and sending three other "little girls" to school. 4) A P. S. mentions all relatives in Louisville, Georgia doing well. She specifically mentions a Walter Templeton. This leads me to believe that John Farmer was a relative of Catherine and Bathsheba Farmer, but I cannot prove this. Walter Templeton must have been a relative of A. J. Templeton, either his brother or father.
