a. Note:   , 1935, the youngest son of Arthur and Inez (Powers) Tefft. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; son, Stewart; daughters, Sandra, Lori and Debbie; brothers, Robert and Harry. He was the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren: Rachel, Cassie, Stephanie, Zachary, Emily, Marlena, Marylou, John Jr., Julia and Hope. Donald graduated from Ripley High School in 1954. He served four years in the U.S. Navy on the USS Champlain, the USS Intrepid and Fazron Unit 106 in Argentia, New Foundland. Donald served on the New York State Police Force, where he received the NY State Police Superintendent Commendation Award, retiring in 1981. He was a real estate agent for Beckman ' Bertram, Director of Security of Job Corps, US Rural Postal Delivery carrier and, together with wife, Patti, owned and operated Foggy Ridge Antiques. Donald enjoyed many things, mainly family, golfing, fishing and poker. For the past 5 years, Donald enjoyed his retirement and many friends at Whisper Lake Park in Sebring. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Doris; brothers, Arthur, Willis, Roger and Charles. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 4418 Sun N Lake Blvd., Sebring, FL 33872. Arrangements entrusted to ICS CREMATION SOCIETY863-314-0401
