  Mrs. Leona Helmick Revere, age 76, of Kinston Rehabilitation Center, died Thursday, December 16, 2004, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Revere was a homemaker. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Edwards Funeral Home. She is survived by her son, Oscar W. Revere Jr. of Middleburg, Va.; a daughter, Hannah R. Deaver of Kinston, N.C.; three brothers, Melvin Helmick of Warrenton, Va., Gibson and Ira Helmick, both of Richmond, Va.; two sisters, Jessie Springman of Bowie, Maryland and Eleanor Walton of Mechanicsville, Va.; and four grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Curtis Drake Scholarship Fund c/o BB&T 2009 W. Vernon Ave., Kinston, N.C. 28501. Arrangements by Edwards Funeral Home. (Paid obituary)
