a. Note:   Jakob, his wife Dorothea and two children, Magdalena and Odelia came to the United States in March 1902. They are on the passenger list for Ellis Island, however, they then went to Galveston, Texas. They arrived at Ellis Island on the SS Kaiser Wilhelm Der Grosse. Their final destination was Kingfisher, Oklahoma. His age was listed at 33, married and a farmer.
  Later changed his first name to Jacob. Last Russian residence was Leonowskoje (another name listed for this was Alexanderfeld). "Alt Arcis" is a Lutheran Parish Center in Bessarabia. Died when he and his son Benjamin were on their way to Truth or Consequences, New Mexico to take mineral baths. ("Lipscomb County Families of German Descent")
  Jacob F. was noted as being the grandfather of Albert Littau ("Lipscomb County Families of German Descent").
