a. Note:   Died in the St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen. Moved to Mott, North Dakota area in 1918 where he worked on a ranch. Moved to Lemmon, South Dakota in 1931 and employed by the City of Lemmon, Perkins County, South Dakota. Story is that he, Samuel Jr., changed the spelling of his last name from Clucker to Klucker after a family disagreement and then moved from the Sioux Falls, South Dakota area to North Dakota. No record of the name change being formalized legally.
