Minnie and her husband Kindred had two sons. After Kindred died because of a fire the boys were put in an IOOF (Independent Order of Odd Fellows) home because Minnie could not take care of them.
Minnie was married to Kindred during the 1920 census, was living on East 13th, Sioux Falls, South Dakota and was enumerated with her brother Frederick Witte who was 27 years old at the time.
