a. Note:   Mt. Morris "Index" Obituary:
  Mrs. John Cramer, who had made her home recently with her daughter, Mrs. Henry Fogle, has passed away. She with her husband, came to Ogle County about thirty-nine years ago and since that time had lived the greater part of the time in Leaf River Township. The deceased lived for many years on what was known as the Odell farm, where her husband, John Cramer, died some six or seven years ago. The funeral occurred Tuesday, Sept. 3, at North Grove Evangelical Church. She had passed her 72nd year at the time of her death and leaves to mourn, two daughters and two sons with many friends.

  As the first of September was closing, and the son in the western sky was sinking low, word comes to us that the death messenger had stopped in our township, taking two of our quite aged citizens, Mrs. John Cramer, who had made her home recently with her daughter, Mrs. Henry Fogle, had passed away. She, with her husband, came to Ogle Co. about thirty-nine years ago, and since that time lived the greater part of the time in Leaf River Township. The deceased lived for many years on what was known as the ODell farm, where her husband, John Cramer, died some six or seven years ago.
