Note: Obituary March 3, 1928 MRS MARGARET KOONTZ Mrs Margaret E Koontz, age 85, who lived in La Porte county, all her life, passed away at her home, four miles north east of Wanatah, yesterday morning at 11:30. Death came after a long period of failing health. Mrs Koontz was born in Union Mills on July 2, 1842. She leaves five sons; George, Arthur, Carl, John and Pulaski, and four daughters; Maggy, Della, Edna, and Effie, who is now Mrs Effie Hilton. Eleven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren also survive. The funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, with the Rev Mr scott officiating. Burial will be at Union Mills cemetery. H A Boehlke will be in charge.
