a. Note:   Nickname:<NICK> Jennie Virginia Estella Reighley Higgins was a wonderful woman. I was but six years old when she passed away, but remember her very clearly. She was always sweet and gentle with a welcoming lap and hugs. She touched everyones life that she knew. When you speak to people who knew her, they smile, and a glow comes over them when they speak about her. She always went by her nickname "Jennie" and even has Jennie on her tombstone. I remember grandpa Ellis telling me once of his mother,,,,"Oh" he said "She raised six sons, and was very strict with us, she was just a little thing but we knew when she spoke we had better do what she said." and then he smiled and said "we loved her so much, she was wonderful." (Jennie was a past worthy matron of the Elyria Chapter 165, Order of the Eastern Star, and was a member of the White Shrine and Women's Benefit Association)
