a. Note:   , he pastored there from 1865-1880. Her bapt certificate was signed by Rev. Brauer, but he did not come there until 1880. There is no record of her siblings at that congregation. Witnesses were Marie Schulz and Dorothea Wolle. 1885 census index - Rickman 1900 - bore 6 children, 2 living. Anna's Obit: Anna Marie Dorothea Mueller, daughter of Christoph Rieckmann and Elizabeth nee Wolle was born February 28, 1869 in Washington, Illinois and departed this life October 18, 1950, in her home in Kearney, Nebraska at the age of 81 years 7 months and 20 days. On the 7th day of March 1869 she was received into God's Kingdom of Grace through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism in Beecher, Illinois, by Pastor A. H. Brauer. At the age of eight years her parents moved to Buffalo County where she has resided up to the time of her death. The deceased was received into communicant membership of the Lutheran church of Grand Island, Nebraska through the rite of confirmation on the 18th day of March, 1883, by Pastor A. Baumhoefer. On the 24th of November 1891 she entered the holy estate of matrimony with William Mueller. They were privileged to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary in 1941. She was a loyal and faithful member of the Lutheran Church taking an active interest and part in the founding and building of St.Paul's church north of Riverdale, making many sacrifices willingly for the Saviour's cause. She was preceded in death by her husband, four children and two grandchildren. She leaves to mourn her departure, her seven children, Mrs. Frieda Lammers, Mrs. Anna Lammers, Mrs. Clara Lammers, Wm. Mueller, Hulda, Marie and Selma Mueller, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grand-children. She was laid to rest in St. Paul's cemetery north of Riverdale there to await the coming of her Lord.
  According to the church records at St. Paul, Beecher, Illinois, near Crete, Lossner baptized my Anna Rieckmann. In an on-line history of that church, it mentions that "The first pastor was the Rev. Herman Lossner, who arrived by horse and wagon from Jefferson, MO in Aug., 1865. The church dedication and installation of Pastor Lossner occurred mid-Oct, 1865."
