Note: Youngest son In 1880 census, see father. Note from the Historical Committee of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran church in Lenox From what I've seen Pastor Wichmann was much loved here at St. Peter's. We still have members left who knew Pastor Wichmann, and I think a couple of them were even confirmed by him. ...In the August 1926 newsletter (in English) there was a note that Pastor Wichmann didn't have a column in this month due to "surgery to remove a serious obstruction from his nose." I figure he must have had some type of cancer, and from what I've read in the memorial newsletter it sounds like he knew he was dying. WWI draft reg - Medium height and build, blue eyes, brown hair.
