Note:   1870 - Went to Concordia College, Fort Wayne 1878 - took call to school in Farmers' Retreat, Ind. abt 1882 - to White Creek, Indiana Third place - Freistadt, Wisconsin 1900 - invalid, in home of sister Nannie and Carl Schneider, Milwaukee. Wife Sophia was in residence of bro-in-law Henry Klug, along with children Oskar, Lora and Walter. Other children were with Wm Schoessow or working/living in other households. 1910 - with wife and family at 978 17th St. in Milwaukee Obit says he left widow and 10 children, 3 of whom were minors.
