  Rev. Gerald Kemp, "Kemps in Canada", pg. 15: We have no information about the next few years until John Albert's death & burial in Springbrook, Mt. Nebo cemetery in 1917. Although there is no grave marker bearing their names, Evelyn Kemp assured me that both John Albert & Charlotte are buried in William John & Evelyn Kemp's plot.

Registered Oct. 3, 1916.
  Obituary: John A. Kemp: There passed away on October 2nd 1916 in the township of Rawdon John A. Kemp in his 76th year. He was born in the township of Murray and later moved to Cashel with his parents. Later he married, after which he settled in Rawdon township, where he spent the remainder of his life. In religion he was Methodist and he left behind him a clear testimony that he was going to the realms above. Although we miss him here we shall one day meet him in the beautiful mansions of God. The funeral service was held in Springbrook Methodist church and conducted by Rev. Woodger of Marmora. He was laid to rest in Mount Nebo cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss a loving wife, one son, William John, at home, and three daughters, Mrs. C. McMaster, of Springbrook; Mrs. E. Spry, of Bellview; and Mrs. A.M. Gunter, of Trenton.
