  He was a Farmer & worked also at the Kaspuskasing pulp mill where he hurt his back so went back to New Carlisle sometime after 1943. His son, Everett, went to school there.
  Obit. - Charles T. Dobson - It is with sorrow & regret that we have been called upon to record the death of the late Charles T. Dobson of New Carlisle P.Q. on April 9, 1974. The late Mr. Dobson was in his 76th year. Born in New Carlisle, the son of the late Archie Dobson and his wife Emma (Wellman). He enlisted at the very early age of 17, & served years of WWII. He had only one child, a son Edward, who was killed in an air crash in 1942, while serving with the RCAF in WWII. He leaves to mourn his loss, a sorrowing wife, Dorothy (Coull); one brother, John of Keswick, Ontario; four sisters, Rena, Mancil, Anne and Thelma, all residing in New Carlisle; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral service was held in St. Andrew's Anglican Church April 11 & was largely attended. The pallbearers , all veterans, were David Doherty, Maynard Flowers, Len Gilker, Lester Flowers, Alden Main and Kaye Walker. Mr. Lionel Caldwell, a veteran who served overseas with the deceased, was honorary pallbearer. Interment was in the Anglican Church Cemetery. Out of town relatives attending the funeral were Mrs. David Wood, Oshawa, Ontario; John Dobson, his only brother, Keswick, Ontario; Mr. & Mrs. Joe Griffith, Montreal, PQ; Raynie Bujold, Toronto, Ontario; Nelson Dobson, Campbellton, N.B.; Sharps Coull, Mrs. Howard Woodman & daughter, all from Grand Cascapedia.
