  Tiffin Daily Tribune newspaper, August 13 1902, pg. 8, col. 5- After a lingering illness, Mrs. Adaline Kemp departed this life Aug. 10 1902, Mrs. Kemp was born in Ontario, Canada, Oct. 23, 1822, and was aged 79 years, 10 months and 17 days. The funeral will occur Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 12, at the Methodist church, Rev. Spencer officiating assisted by Rev. Gerlach. (Note: the difference of the birth date & death date is actually 79 yrs., 9 months & 18 days).
  Seneca Advertiser newspaper, August 14, 1902, pg. 5, col. 4- OBITUARY- Mrs. Adaline Kemp, widow of James Kemp, died Sunday at 3 p.m. at her home in McCutchenville of dropsy and the infirmities of age, after an illness lasting all winter. The deceased was born in Canada, and would have been 80 years of age next October. For many years, she resided north of Tiffin. Her only surviving child, a son, Charles M. Kemp, is the well-known dairyman of this city. A daughter, Mrs. George Cypher died six weeks ago as a result of a fall at her home in the village. Mrs. Frank Cramer and Mrs. Fred Oster, of College Hill, are nieces of the deceased. Funeral Tuesday at 2 p.m. at McCutchenville.
