Note: Lucille Williams The funeral service for former Salant & Salant employee Lucille Williams of Paris will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Tim Cook will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Williams, 95, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008, at her residence. Born July 29, 1912, in Henry County, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Minnie McClure Wynns. She was married on Oct. 24, 1936, to Stanley Williams, who died May 8, 1984. Williams worked at Salant & Salant for more than 30 years. She was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church. She leaves a cousin, who was a caregiver: Sue Ann Cowell of Paris; a caregiver: Carol Askew of Paris; and several other cousins. She also was preceded in death by a sister: Clara Orene Wynns on March 4, 1998.
