a. Note:   GIBSON, FLOYD EDGAR, 83, died Monday, May 20, 2013. He was a native of Paris, TN, retired from the old National Carbide Co., an Army veteran and Baptist by faith.
  He was preceded in death by his wife, Oma Mae Gibson; sisters, Wanda England and Helen Blackburn; and brother, David Gibson.
  He is survived by his brothers, James Mitchell and Bobbie Gibson; sister, Marilyn Smith (Raymond); and nieces and nephews.
  His funeral is 2 p.m. Friday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and after noon Friday.
