a. Note:   Sid Wayne Blackburn, 73, of MT. Washington, died Wednesday at Green Meadows Health care Center. He was a native of Talladega, AL., and raised in Russellville, AL., and is a retired machine operator for the W.M. Cissell Manufacturing Company, where he worked for 39 years.He was an army Veteran, and a member of the Salt River Masonic Lodge #180, and Frist Baptist Church of MT. Washington. He is survived by his wife the former Helen Gibson, three daughters Gail Blackburn, Debora Starkey(John), and Teresa Bruce(Martin); six grandchildren; and two nieces, Anglea and Frances Burnett. The funeral will be held at 11 AM Saturday at McFarland Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home. With burial in Highland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7-9 PM Thursday and 9am to 9 PM Friday. Memorial gifts may go to the First Baptist Church of MT. Washington
