Note: LaRue Co. Herald 30 Aug 1945: Miss Anna Burks, daughter of Mrs. Amanda Mae Burks, of this city, and Mr. Thomas Howard Price were married Friday, August 24th at Mt. Eden Christian Church, Rev. Moakes of Jeffersontown, Ky., officiating. Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Price, brother and sister-in-law of the groom were the attendants. Mr. Price recently returned after spending nearly three years overseas and has received an honorable discharge from the Army. They will reside for the present with Mrs. Price's mother here.
LaRue Herald News: Anna Burks Price, 75, of Hodgenville, died Thursday, Dec 8, 1983, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was a member of the Hodgenville Christian Church. Price is survived by one sister, Thelma Slack, of Hodgenville; one niece, Helen Eckhoff of Hodgenville; and one nephew, C. M. Davenport, of Hodgenville. Funeral services were held Saturday at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with the Rev. Marshall Parvin and the Rev. Gerald Gardner officiating. Burial was in Red Hill Cemetery.
