a. Note:   Nevitt, Ramona Lee Price 32 passed away Thurs. Feb 6th at her residence of 1503 Bluegrass Louisville Kentucky. Devoted daughter of Mr and Mrs Omer Price, Athertonville KY., loving sister of Mrs. George Locke, Hodgenville;also survived by one niece and five nephews.Remains resting at the William and Miller Funeral home, Hodgenville KY.until 12:20 PM Sun when she will be taken to the First Baptist Church at Hodgenville for services at 1;30 PM. Interment Red Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Williams and Miller Funeral home after 6pm Friday.
  LaRue County Hearld News 02/13/1964 Funeral Services for Mrs. Ramona Lee Price Nevitt, a native of LaRue County were held at 1:30 PM Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Hodgenville with interment in Red Hill Cemetery here. Mrs. Nevitt, 32 a daughter of Mr and Mrs Omer Price of Athertonville, was found dead at her home 1503 Bluegrass Street in Louisville about 4:40 AM Thursday of numerous stab wounds. Her body was discovered by Louisville Police who went to the Nevitt home after finding a wallet with identification papers of Clifford Nevitt in a car on the John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge at 4:17 Am Thursday. A check of the car registration led police to the Nevill home were the body of Mrs. Nevitt was found in a pool of blood in the bathroom. Chief Deputy Don Shader estimated Mrs. Nevitt had been dead several hours when the body was discovered. After Finding the car, City police checked Nevitt's home and found the body of his wife, Mrs. Ramona Nevitt 32. Mrs. Nevitt was found in the bathroom clad in pajamas.She had been stabbed at least a dozen times in the body, neck, and left arm according to Chief Deputy Coroner Don Shader. Shader said Mrs. Nevitt had been dead several hours when her body was found at 4:40 AM Police reportedly suspect that Nevitt jumped to his death in the Ohio River. They said they discovered what looked like a hand print and a scuff mark that might have been left by a shoe on the 3ft Bridge railing alongside Nevitt's car. Dragging operations were hampered by weather conditons.At press time yesterday the body had not been found. The Nevitt's had not children.She had been a bookkeeper at National Distilleries Products Company in Louisville for a number of years. Nevitt had been a chemical operator for the B.F. Goodrich Company in Louisville since 1955. Mrs. Nevitt was a graduate of Hodgenville High School and attended Campbellsville College, Campbellsville KY. Besides her parents, she is survived by a sister Mrs. Marie Locke, of near Hodgenville. The body was brought by Maims and Miller Funeral Home here Thursday night.

  Dragging of the Ohio River is scheduled to begin today for the body of a South End Man whose wife was found stabbed to death in their home early yesterday. The search for Clifford Nevitt, 33 of 1503 Bluegrass, whose car was found on the found on the John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge 4:17 AM yesterday, police said. After finding the car City police checked Nevitt's home and found the body of his wife Mrs. Ramona Nevitt, 32. Mrs. Nevitt was found in the bathroom clad in pajamas. She had been stabbed at least a dozen times in the body, neck, and left arm according to Chief Deputy Corner Don Shader. Shader said Mrs. Nevitt had been dead several hours when her body was found found at 4:40 AM.
  Blood Spots on Sink Detectives James Gruber and Wayne Reynolds said they found a butcher Knife and a paring Knife in the Kitchen Sink. There were blood spots in the sink and on a man's shirt found near the bathroom police said. Detectives found two notes relating to the deaths. Nevitt had been employed since 1955 as a chemical operator by the B.F. Goodrich Chemical Company, and his wife was a payroll clerk at National Distillers Products Company.
  Native of Athertonville Mrs. Nevitt the former Ramona Lee Price was a native of Athertonville. She was a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Omer Price, Atthertonville. The body is at Williams and Miller Funeral Home, Hodgenville. The funeral will be at 1:30 PM Sunday at First Baptist Chruch Hodgenville. Burial will be in Red Cemetery there.
