a. Note:   n Sept. 29, 1715, married Martha Washburn, Jan. 11, 1737, at Kingston, Mass., and lived in the South Parish of Plympton, now Carver, Mass. He married, 2d, Lucy Cobb of Plympton, Mass., May 4, 1748.
  Also states, p. 390: "Jonathan Tilson, Capt. Jos. Sargent's Co. of 2d Worcester Regt., Nov. 7, 1777. Town enl. for Princeton. Enl. during the war, Capt. Trescott's Co., Col. Henley's Regt....1st Lieut., Capt. Nath. Shaw's Co., Col. James Wessen's Regt. of Plympton, to Marshfield, 2 days. April 19, 1775. Jonathan Tilson's will is dated Nov 16, 1782, which says: Lucy Tilson, my wife, shall have one-third improvement so long as my widow, and no longer."
