a. Note:   1880 Census Matilda age 19 listed with these notes, Listed as Maimed, Crippled, Bedridden or otherwise disabled, had not attended school in the year, cannot read or write.
  Searching the new 1885 index and images for a Matilda revealed a Matilda Daily living in 1885 in Saratoga, Holt Co., NE, about 6 miles from the Wade homestead at Lavinia. Then I remembered a Matilda Daley in the 1900 Census living next door to Ellis Wade in Boyd County, NE. Ellis and Matilda Daily in 1900 matched birth information. They both listed Iowa, Ireland and Ireland which was wrong but strangely they matched. This new 1885 Census showed Matilda also had a child, that child also matched the 1900 census for Matilda living next door to Ellis. In 1910 she appears in Spencer, Boyd Co., NE with the name Matilda Cissna, widowed. Her son Celos was found and he gave Matilda Cissna as his nearest relative in the WW I Draft Reg in 1918, this lead me to the Spencer, NE residence in 1910. Who was this Cissna. A look at the Spencer, Boyd Co., NE 1900 Census for a Cissna. The Census found a Ann Cissna which became Chas Cissna after a close look. Ann was a male not a female, born Sep 1839, in Ohio, single and a harness maker. A closer look and using the basic image not enhanced, the Ann turned into a faint Chas, short for Charles.
  A search found a Charles S. Cissna, born in 1839, harness maker and never married. So we found Charles Cessna in Spencer, NE in 1900. In 1910 we found Matilda Cessina in Spencer widowed. We found Celos, Matilda Dailey's son, and he indicates Matilda's location to match the 1910 Census as in Spencer. She is not found in 1920 nor any of her living children except Celos and Sarah Elizabeth Dailey-Martin, living across the state line in South Dakota. No marriage record has been found or any children born. She did increase her children by 2 between 1900 and 1910, indicating Matilda and Charles had 2 children if the information in the census is correct.
