Note: Mary Evelyn Porter, 91, of Memphis, formerly of Jackson andMilan, TN,passed away Monday, May 11, 2009. She was preceded indeath by threehusbands Charles T. Cates, John Delius andChester Porter. She was amember of Bartlett Hills BaptistChurch. She worked as an LPN for St.Francis and St. JosephHospitals. She is survived by her daughter,Marilyn McCormick,son, C. Thomas Cates (Elaine), step-son Van Porter(Patti),seven grandchildren, Andy (Mary Allison) Cates, Taylor(Carolyn)Cates, Cindy (Scott) Moore, Charlie Cates, Pam (Tony)Jenkins,Chris (Kimberly) McCormick, and Amy (Cliff) Todd, andtwelvegreat grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 12,from5-7 P.M. with a service to follow at 7 P.M. both at FamilyFuneralCare. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery Milan, TN at 11A.M.Wednesday.
