Laura Virginia Holder, age 85 passed away September 01, 2014 in Cordova, TN.
She graduated from Northside High School in Jackson, TN; was a wonderful Christian Mother, loved her yard work, meeting people, and her dog Sparky. She had retired from Baptist Hospital after a long career.
She is predeceased by her husband Glenn Holder; parents Clifford and Emma Jane Whitt; sisters, Lorene Mays, Thelma Durham, Margie Berry, Helen Haggard; brothers Thomas Whitt and Weldon Whitt and son-in-law Charles Hepburn.
She is survived by two daughters Laura Hepburn and Glenda (Ronnie) Carter and one grandson who was her pride and joy, Ronnie Craig Carter; and by one sister Doris Elliott.
Services will be held Wednesday September 03, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
