 "MRS. ESTELLE M. WINTERBURN Mrs. Estelle M. Winterburn, aged 54 years, Chippewa towship resident, died
 last night at 5:20 o'clock in her home from complications following a stroke suffered two days ago. She was a member of the Chippewa M.E. Church. She is survived by her husband John E. Winterburn; two daughters, Mrs. Hay Loughridge, Chippewa township; and Grace Evelyn, at home; one brother Charles Hagerman, of Brighton township ; three sisters, Pearl Hagerman, and Mrs. Lulu Brain, both of Brighton township, and Dora Hagerman, of Chippewa township. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hay Loughridge Blackhawk road, with Rev. Sherman L. Burson officiating.  "Estelle Maude had three sisters and a brother all believed to have been born in Mt. Pleasant. Their mother, Clara Yard Hagerman, lived on a 19 acre farm. Their father, William Hagerman was a coal miner. Someone stole the coal out from under the farm, but their grandfather never sued.
 John and Estelle lived in New Brighton in the early years of their marriage. They attended the 6th Avenue Methodist Church. They rented a house from Herger (?). Then they bought a house, but lost it when the Hollow Ware Foundry went down. They lived on the Thomas place, then rented the old Sponsler Place (Myers owns it how on Blackhawk Rd across from Louthans). They then lived on the Winterburn Road farm, c 1906."
