a. Note:   According to Divorce papers, Inez divorced Edwin for Adultry on June 25, 1917. There was no alamony or child suport requested or required. After their divorce, Inez operated a cloths cleaners in Portland, ME. She never remarried and was very bitter towards Edwin, her ex-husband. On the day the divorce was finalized she went home in a rage and destroyed all pictures of him and of them together. Arleen and Joan managed to save a few and hid them but these were eventually lost. (ref: Joan Johnson). Inez Lawrence Genthner and her daughter Arleen Genthner had just returned from a trip to see Perry and Joan Genthner Johnson, her other daughter who lived in Bethesda, Maryland. She steped from the car on arrival at her house in Agusta and feel dead instantly. Arleen called her sister Joan who with Perry immediately drove to Agusta from their home in Bethesda, MD. Date of death is approximate. (ref: Joan Johnson).
