Mr. Wiley "Doug" Mc Carty, age 91, a resident of Madera since 1947 passed away. Doug retired from Madera Unified School District following 29 years with the District as a School Bus Driver. He was a member of The 1st Southern Baptist Church of Madera and was active in many youth activiti es in the community most notably as a coach for the Kiwanis Little League Team for 29 years. In his leisure time Doug loved to spend time fishing and camping.
In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his 3 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Toonie Mc Carty of Madera, a son Chester Mc Carty of Madera, a daughter Loretta Marie Mc Carty of Texas, and by two step-children, Elizabeth Ann Smith of Sanger, Ca. and Teddy Wayne Bartley of Belton, Mo. He grandfather of numerous grand children, great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
