  Obituary Lydia Waymire
Lydia Waymire was born in Darke Co., May 1st, 1857 and passed to her reward May 31st, 1935 at the age of 78 years and one month. On May 7th. 1874 she was united in marriage to Jacob Waymire. God saw fit to bless their home with 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls. Three children have preceded her in death. Those remaining are her husband, Jacob Waymire, two daughters, Mrs. Warren Thompson of Pleasant Hill and Mrs. Clara Jones of Anaconda, Montana, and a son Charles Waymire of Columbus. Also one brother Edward Cruen of Dayton, 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was a faithful member of the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren having united with the church under the ministry of Rev. Isaac Killhefner, deceased also, 45 years ago.
She was greatly interested in her church and was always present at the Sunday services as well as prayer meeting. Failing health handicapped just a little yet she was present both morning and evening services, May 26th, just 5 days before her death.
"Her presence was always an inspiration to the pastor and we trust though gone she shall not be forgotten by those who counted her among their friends. May the virtues of her Godly life be reproduced in our lives so that we too shall have that abundant entrance into the Land of Glory."
Card of Thanks We wish to thank our kind neighbors and friends for their help and sympathy during our recent bereavement and for the beautiful floral tributes. We also wish to express our appreciation to Rev. Adams and Mr. Macher for their kindness and consoling words and to Mr. Geeting for his excellent service. .........Jacob Waymire and family
