Note: Betty Jane Rosalle (Robison) Ames, 89, passed away at 11:30 p.m. Dece. 17, 2012 at her home. She was born Feb. 6, 1923, in Fort Smith, Ark. to Roy Buttler and Zora Waymire Buttler. On Nov. 2, 1942 she married Merrill G. Robison. He preceded her in death in 1999. On Nov. 19, 2004 she married Deverl J. Ames, who survives.
She was an active member of the Peoria Church where along with her friends Anna Faye Wimmer and Edith Winn, she wrote �The Legacy of the Peoria United Methodist Church and Community Highlights.� She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and a Graduate of Elwood High School and loved to travel.
