MONTA WEIR BODY TO BE RETURNED HERE
Body of Monta Harcher Weir 77 who died Saturday night at the home of her daughter Mrs. Jacob Kinsey, Gary, will be returned Tuesday noon to Elwood and be taken to the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home. The body will be returned here from the Butler Funeral Home in Gary.
Mrs. Weir was born near Elwood and had resided in this vicinity most of her life. She was the widow of John Weir and was a member of the Christian Church in Gary. Mrs. Weir had resided in Elwood twelve years before going to the home of her daughter a short time ago. Surviving are the daughter at whose home she died, one son Lloyd Hancher, Gary; five grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Sarah Houser, New Marion, Oh; three brothers Stan Waymire, New Mexico; Erwin Waymire Fairmount, and Monroe Waymire, Marion.
Services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home with Rev. J.E. McCoy pastor fo the East Main Street Christian Church in charge. Burial will be in city cemetery.
