Lee Waymire 88, 2714 N 13th St. died Monday morning at Parkview Convalescent Center. Born Apr 4,1892 in Madison County, he was the son of Knealy and Sarah Jane Waymire, he was married to Susanne Gifford who died in 1964, he later married Ruth Robinson who survives. He was retired from Delco-Remy and a member of the Zion Chapel Church. Surviving with the wife are four children Mrs.Wilma Abbott and Mrs.Mildred O'Haver both of Elwood, Mrs.Edna Sheffel of Sommerset,Kentucky and Robert Waymire of Alexandria, 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, a brother Edward Waymire of Green Valley,IL. and five step-children. Rites will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home with the Rev Ronald Priest officiating, burial will be in the Elwood City Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 to 9 p.m. today.
