a. Note:   Edith M. Roberson ELWOOD � Edith M. Roberson, 93, of Elwood, died Aug 4, 2002, at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood after a brief illness. She was born March 11, 1909, in Montgomery County,. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Zion Chapel Church of Christ in Chris�tian Union in Elwood and a mem�ber of Moving On Home Econom�ics Club in Elwood. She worked 3,700 hours as a volunteer at Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood. Survivors include two sons, Melvin and wife Sue Robinson of Anderson and Fred and wife Mary Robinson of Atlanta; two daugh�ters, Rosie Beats of Tipton and Judy Ann McGinnis of DeKalb, IlL; five stepchildren; twin sister, Ethel Mullins of Elwood; sister, Reatha Corbin of Fort Wayne, 21 grand�children; four stepgrandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, stepgreat-grandchildren and. great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mary Etta (Bradburn) Patton; husband, Floyd Robinson, whom she mar�ried May 14, 1927 and died March 7,1961; husband, Lee Waymire, who died Aug. 12,1980; husband, Wayne Roberson who died Feb 6, 1994; two sons; Loren and Gene Robinson; two brothers, Gerald and Rolland Patton; and two sisters, Thelma Tess and Dorothy Peclum. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Copher-Fesler�-May Funeral Home in Elwood with the Revs. Caroline Christopher and Jack Bess officiating. Burial will be in Elwood City Cemetery.
