Note: Robert E. Waymire, 91, Phoenix, passed away July 8, 2012, at Hospice of the Valley, Phoenix, Ariz.
He was born Aug. 11, 1920, in Anderson, Ind., and resided in Phoenix, Ariz., for the past 4� years.
Robert worked at Delco Remy approximately eight years in the 1940s. He farmed approximately 55 years in the Muncie/Alexandria area.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Betty R. (Walford) Waymire; children, Ronald G. Waymire (Gerry) of Phoenix, Brenda J. Colbert (Douglas) of Erie, Colo., and Donald E. Waymire (Lana) of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Jeannie Evans (Ralph) of Anderson; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; mother; stepmother; five brothers; two sisters; and daughter, Sandra L. Cook.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Park View Cemetery, Alexandria, Ind.
Memorial contributions may be made to Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013, to help with the expenses.
