John Silverwood was an Idaho pioneer of the 1860s and 1878s. He lived on the Elk City Wagon Road near the community of clearwater Idaho and operated a 'Mountain House' for weary travelers of that time. Post Office records of 1873 show that John was Postmaster at Clearwater, Idaho with a pay of $12 per year! Please help me add information to John's bio and burial records.
