  Mr Osborne, former sexton of the Livonia Cemetery stated that there were two McPherson graves in the Livonia Cemetery. He recalled that when the top of one the stones broke he threw it away without recording the inscriptions. Both of the graves were early graves and at that time there were no other McPherson families in Livonia Township.
  William died in a boat fire on Conesius Lake. McPherson Point and McPherson Cove is named after him.
