  In the name of God amen that I Robert McPherson of Sadsbury Township County of Chester & province of Pennsylvania being weAR of body but of perfect mind And memory thanks be given unto God I therefore calling to mind the mortality of my Body knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make ordain this my Last will & testament, First I give and recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent Chris- tian manner nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the Same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly Estate where with it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life I give and desire & dispose of the same in the following manner and form I desire that all my lawful debts and funeral expenses be paid I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Agness the whole benefit of my real and personal Estate situated in Sadsbury Township one part & one part in West Calm in the County and province affore said for the space of six years from my deseas for the purpose of enabling her to bring up the children but if she happens to marry in the space of this six years then she is to have no more benefits of my real or personal Estate also she is to have no more cost nor trouble with the children I give and bequeath that my real and personals Estate wholly be equally divided between my wife Agness and my nine children excepting my son Thomas which I allow a addition of ten pounds to be first took out of the whole but if any of my children die before they come to the years of maturity I allow that it be equally divided Between all the rest lastly I constitute my wife Agness and my Brother in law Arthur Park to be my whole and sole Executors of this my last will and testament disannulling and revoking all former wills by me made and Ratifying this only to be my last will and testament whiteness wherefo I have here unto set my hand and seal this Twenty fifth day of September In the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred & seventy six 1776.

  Whereas Robert McPherson of the township of Sadsbury Recd appointed the accomptant Arthur Park the now surviving Executor And Agness his wife now dead. Executrix of his last Will and Testament he there in willed that his Executrix should have the real and personal Estate for 7 years in order to enable her to pay his just debts and educate and bring up the Childrenduring her lifetime her and the children amicably divided the real & personal Estate in said Sadsbury among themselves agreeable to said Will therefore your accomptant craves to be exonerated therefrom, as the property never came into his hands. ---- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your accomptant Arthur Park Surviving Executor charges himself with the monies arising from the sale of lands (ordered to be sold by the orphans court) situated in the township of West Caln amounting to $1050.00 when it comes into his hands. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To Amt. of sales Est. abovet $1050.00
