  Milton McPherson to James McPherson Winfield September 30th 1867 this agreement made between Milton McPherson of Union Township of the with first part and James McPherson of the same place of the second part. Witnesseth as follows, the said Milton McPherson does by this agreement, sell convey transfer unto the said James McPherson all his interest in the late Estate or property of the widow of William McPherson of Union Township, the property consists of a house & lot of ground containing eight acres more or less adjoining public road on the North leading from New Berlin to Northumberland and land of H. Gibson in the East and lands of G. Hummel & for Burst in Smith & West In Consideration the said James does firmly agree to pay the sum of Forty dollars lawful money the receipt is hereby acknowledged.
