I have a photo of a document that shows Daniel, William, and Findley Farquharson being adopted by William McPherson in Caledonia, New York, February 12, 1814. It shows them as the children of Peter Farquharson, Deceased. Add that to the fact that William married a Daughter of William McPherson and it makes one wonder. Thanks
