  To the honorable the Judges of the Court of Common Pleas of Union County at September Term 1832. The petition of Abraham Kramer of the borough of Lewisburg in said County respectfully represents that John McPherson late of the Township of Union County of Union and State of Pennsylvania Esquire deceased in his lifetime to wit about the first day of March A.D. 1821 was seized in his demands as of / as of undo in the following mentioned and described lot or piece of ground situate in Union Township aforesaid bounded and described as follows to wit. Beginning at a corner of land of Abraham Eyer deceased. Letter survey & the said John McPherson then and by land of the heirs of the said Abraham Eyer dec'd. North fifty seven degrees, East thirteen perches to a post, thence by land of said John McPherson South thirty three degrees nine perches and six links to a post, South fifty seven degrees West twenty perches and six links to a post, thence by land of Jane McPherson (late letter survey) North five degrees East twelve perches and one link to the place of beginning containing one acre unit measures. That being thereby sworn the said John McPherson by a parcel contract on the same and year aforesaid directive for the sale of the premises aforesaid unto, your petitioner in fee simple thatbythe condition of the said parcel contract your petitioner agreed to build a house on the said premises and pay a real compensation for the same. In consideration of which building and improvement and other valuable considerations the said John McPherson agreed to make & deliver unto your petitioner a regular and legal deed of the premises that your petitioner in pursuance of the said parcel contract did build a house on the premise for his use aforesaid in which he lived till about three years past when he rented it has since sold it to Jane McPherson but that no sufficient provisions for this performance of the contract has been made by the descendants in her lifetime. Your petitions therefore prays that this honorable court may be pleased to receive proof of the deed executrix of the said contract on his part in order to the completion of his Will according to the act of assembly in such cases made and provided Abraham Kramer Union County SS John McPherson on oath administered according to law declared that Abraham Kramer was at his father John McPherson deceased some time in the month of February Anno Domino 1821 and after said Kramer went away his said father came out to this land and told him that he had let Abraham Kramer aforesaid have an acre of land, that Abraham Kramerthat same year built a house on this lot of land described in the above petition and lived in it till the fall of AD 1824. That was the general opinion of the neighborhood that Abraham Kramer had bought his said lot from this said John McPherson deceased. John McPherson, sworn subscribed in open court Sept. 18, 1832 J Stilwell Notary Union County SS Abraham Coryell on oath administrated according to law declared that same lived in March AD 1821 he went with Abraham Kramer to John McPherson Esquire to get him to go along to measure off a lot of ground said McPherson said that he was unwell & could not go but that they Coryell & Kramer should go & take David Steel with them & measure it off. Which they did accordingly and that it is the same lot that is described in the above petition, John McPherson told him to start at a Sycamore tree which was called Stellers Corners Abraham Coryell, sworn and subscribed in open court Sept. 18, 1832 J. Stilwell notary (Endorsements) petitions of Abraham Kramer 15 pr parcel contract with John McPherson dec. Sept 18th 1832 read and this court appoints this place and time for hearing the proof and on hearing the witnesses court a judges this proof sufficient undo to be recorded agreeably.   Abraham Coryell Deed To Rachel Row This indenture made the thirtieth day of March in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred and fifty three. Between Abraham Coryell of Union Rachel Row of Union Township, Union County and State of Pennsylvania of the first part, and Rachel Row of the same Township and County and state of the second part. Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of seven hundred dollars, lawful money of the United States, to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part , the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged , has granted, bargained, sold, released and confirmed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, release and confirm unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns. All that certain piece of ground situated in Union Township, the same County and State above said and asfollows Viz.: East by lands of Charles Cawley & South by Philip Trutt, West by John Stettler, North by lands of Jane McPherson or Mathias Silverwood being eight acres more or less. - It being parts of lands once owned by Veantin Stettlers and occupied by the here named Abraham Coryell for morethan thirty years. Together with all and Singular the buildings, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging and the remainders and revisions, rents, issues and profits thereof; to have and to hold the premises hereby granted with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, to the use of the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever. And the said party of the first part, and his heirs, the premises hereby granted, with the appurtenances, against all and every person or persons whatsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof. To the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof the party of the first part to these presents has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written. Abraham Coryell seal Sealed and delivered in the presents of the word "Township in the second line once done before said" - John Gundy, David Young. Received on the day of the date of the above indenture of and from the above named Rachel Row Seven hundred dollars in full of the consideration money above mentioned. Abraham Coryell. Union County SS seal Before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace in and for the said County personally came the above named Abraham Coryell and acknowledged the above indenture to be his act and deed to the end that the same might be recorded as such.
