HE WAS A FARMER AND FOL LOWED THIS AVOCATION AS LONG AS HEALTH PERMITTED. DURING THE LAST FE W YEARS, HIS DISEASE, CONSUMPTION, HAD MADE SUCH INROADS UPON HIS SYST EM THAT HE WAS UNABLE TO DO ANY HARD LABOR. HE WAS CONVERTED ABOU T 3 YEARS AGO AND BECOME A MEMBER OF THE UNITED BRETHREN CHURCH AT THI S PLACE FROM THEREON, AS LONG AS HE WAS ABLE, HE WAS A REGULAR ATTENDA NT AT THE VARIOUS SERVICES. HE AWAITED HIS END WITH PATIENCE AND TRUS TED IN THE LORD TO BE TRANSLATED FROM A WORLD OF MISERY TO ONE OF JOY . THE FUNERAL TOOK PLACE ON SUNDAY FORENOON, REV. S.B.
