Note: . On the back of a picture Grandma wrote that William was from Ragusa. Ragusa was inland from the Island of Mljet. John Millich and his wife Anna Strazicich were witness's to the wedding of Gregorio Cumbelich. I have a DNA Match to a descendant of John Millich and Anna Strazizich. Buried at the old Holy Cross Cemetery. Marriage Record not Recorded by the County Recorder until after the Death of Gregorio Cumbelich on March 28, 1892. I am sure that Mom's Father William Clay Cumbelich was born in Santa Cruz and not Ragusa, but that is most likely where Gregorio Cumbelich and Mary Strazizich came from. Mom said that her father was a cousin to George Strazicich. We all have dna matches to the Strazicich from Santa Cruz, California.
