a. Note:   FIREMAN'S MOTHER CLAIMED BY DEATH-JOSEPHINE BERNAL November 29, 1929 San Jose Evening News Death Had today Claimed Mrs Josephine B. Bernal 69, Mother of S. P. Bernal of the Local Fire Department. Other son's that survive are Arthur, Edward, Joseph, And William all of Oakland. Mrs Bernal Apparently in Good Heath, was the victim of a sudden heart attack last night while at the home of her daughter, Adeline Bernal in Oakland. She was the Widow of Bruno B. Bernal for many year a leading cattleman, In the Southern Part of Santa Clara Valley. A Native of San Jose, she lived for years at 73 South Eighth Street. She left for Oakland about 10 years ago upon the death of her husband. Funeral Services will be held tomorrow from St. Patrick's Church. The Body will be held tomorrow at the Denegri-Geoffroy Parlor's this evening, Where it may be viewed by friends and relatives.
