Note: x ref OCT-DEC 1864, Bradford, Vol 9b, page 111). Although she did not die in Boxley, the gravestone of her husband George Constable (died March 31st 1843) in Boxley churchyard, also records the same age and date of death. She was living with her daughter and son-in-law at the time of the 1861 census, which records her birthplace as Boxley This agrees with the 1851 census return for Boxley, which again shows her birthplace as Boxley. (Census 1861 Bradford, Yorkshire RG9/3322, Folio 60, Page 6 and Census 1851 Boxley, Kent HO107/1618, Folio 31, Page 31). An entry in the Parish Registers for Boxley (Kent County Record Office !reference Parish Registers for Boxley, baptism P40/1/2 1809-1678) for November 11th 1787 (" Anne dau of Thomas and Elizabeth Norris"), corresponds exactly with the age at death of Ann Constable. Anns parents were Thomas Norris and Elizabeth Abynet (there is considerable variation in the spelling of this name) of Boxley, who were married at Boxley on 18th July 1774.
Note: She died aged 76, on November 29th 1864, at the Bradford home of her daughter Emily and her husband Thomas Sheffield. It is Thomas name that appears as the informant on Her Death Certificate (BMD Inde
