Note:   In the 1850 Scioto County, Ohio Census, Elizabeth is unmarried and resides with her sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Parmenus Bryant, in Portsmouth. Sarah and Elizabeth are the daughters of John Preytor Hyder.
  In the 1860 Meigs County, Ohio Census, Elizabeth, her second husband, Lory Ford, and her three children born to William Martin reside in Olive Township.
  According to Jackson County, West Virginia Death Records, Elizabeth died of pneumonia.
  Elizabeth's obituary from the 11 March 1914 Ravenswood News (Ravenswood, Jackson County, West Virginia) is as follows:
  "Mrs. Lora[sic] Ford, living on Route 2, died at her home yesterday of heart failure, and will be buried Thursday. Mrs. Ford was seventy-seven years old. She has been married twice and leaves three children by her first marriage, Charles and John Martin and Mrs. Fannie Linscott, also two sons by her last marriage, L. M. and C. N. Ford. She has lived in and near Ravenswood for many years and is well known throughout the county and town. Mrs. Ford was a woman of sterling qualities, who will be sadly missed in her home and community. Her husband has the sympathy of their many friends."
