Note:   In the 1860 Meigs County, Ohio Census, Ira and his wife, Winy, and their sons and an eleven-year-old Martha Miller reside in Salisbury Township.
  In the 1870 Meigs County, Ohio Census, Ira and his second wife, Nancy, and their children and Ira's two sons born to his first wife reside in Rutland Township next door to Nancy's parents and siblings. Ira works as a farm laborer.
  According to the 1880 Meigs County, Ohio Census, Ira was a carpenter. He and Nancy and their family resided in Scipio Township.
  In the 1900 Meigs County, Ohio Census, Ira and Nancy and their son, "Ira A., reside in Orange Township. Ira is a "Stone Cutter". The record states that Ira's father was born in Pennsylvania and that his mother was born in Connecticut.
  In the 1910 Meigs County, Ohio Census, Ira and Mariah reside in Orange Township. Ira is a stone mason. The record states that Ira's father was born in Pennsylvania and that his mother was born in Connecticut.
  Ira's will and probate identify five children: William A., Adelbert, George F., who at that time resided in Boone County, Iowa, Alice, who at that time resided in Williams, Coconino County, Arizona, and "D.M.", who at that time resided in Michigan, and mention grandchildren "George F. Logan" and "Ivor Wilson Logan", sons of William A. Logan, and "George Justus" and "John Justus", who are sons of Ira's late daughter, Elina Rosetta, and his widow, Mariah.
  Ira's obituary in the Wednesday, 8 June 1921 Pomeroy Tribune Telegraph (Pomeroy, Meigs County, Ohio) includes the following:
  "Ira Logan passed away...after a lingering illness of several months due to his advance age, he being 87 in February..."
  Ira's Meigs County, Ohio Death Certificate states that he died "very suddenly".
