Note:   In the 1880 Meigs County, Ohio Census, Lester and Nancy and their children reside in Bedford Township. Lester is a farmer. The record states that his father was born in Ohio and that his mother was born in New York.
  In the 1900 Meigs County, Ohio Census, Lester and Nancy and their children reside in Orange Township. The record states that Lester's father was born in Ohio and that his mother was born in New York. Their grandson, Clarence (identified as "Clarence A. Riley" born in Feb 1898), resides with them.
  After his wife died, Lester married Mrs. Elizabeth (Koenig) Well 22 April 1908 in Meigs County, Ohio. Elizabeth, the daughter of Leonard E. Koenig and Elizabeth Ebersbach(Ebersbaugh) who were both born in Germany, was born 23 March 1860 in Pomeroy, Meigs County, Ohio, and died 25 February 1932 in Orange Township, Meigs County, Ohio. Elizabeth was first married to Jacob Well 1 September 1878 in Meigs County, Ohio. Jacob, the son of Philip Well and Elizabeth Winkle who were both born in Germany, was born in September 1842 and died in 1907. Elizabeth and Jacob had six children: Leonard (born 25 March 1880); Caroline (born 12 February 1882; Caroline married William A. Logan, son of Ira D. Logan and Nancy Maria Goble); Valentine (born 7 July 1884); Anna M. (born 1886); Katie E. (born June 1889); and Carl Emerson (born 13 March 1897).
