  According to the 1900 Wyoming County, West Virginia Census, Mindy was the mother of six children, five of whom were living as of that time.
  According to the 1910 McDowell County, West Virginia Census, Mindy was the mother of eight children, seven of whom were living as of that time.
  Araminta's death record identifies her birth year as 1868; her marriage license identifies it as 1869.
  Because her husband, Billy, moved frequently and Mindy was not well for some years prior to her death, she lived with their daughter, Frances.
  Mindy died of lobar pneumonia and was buried on one of her children's cemetery plots in Huntington, West Virginia. At the time of her death, she was living with her daughter Mary Frances ("Mrs. Ed. Martin") who was the informant for Mindy's death certificate. The record states that "Arminda Jane Blankenship" (as her name is spelled on the document) was married to "Wiliam Blankenship" at the time of her death and identifies her parents as "Marion Harless", born in west Virginia, and "Rachel", born Unknown.
