Note:   At the time of her marriage to Hugh Bett in 1900, Stella was employed asa potter and resided in East Liverpool, Columbiana County, Ohio.
  According to her death certificate, which was completed by her son, Charles Dugan, Stella was a "Christian Science Practitioner" who last worked on 17 Aug 1935 which was the day the automobile accident which ultimately resulted in her death due to the "cerebral injuries" that she suffered in it. It also states that she was divorced.
  Stella's obituary in the The Lake County News-Herald, Friday, August 23, 1935. v. 42, no. 34, page 1 is as follows:

  Injuries Received in Crash Proves Fatal; Services Today
  Private funeral services for Mrs. Stella J. Dugan, aged 49 years, the victim of a tragic motor accident near Vermillion, O., will take place Friday afternoon at 2 0'clock at the Davis Funeral Home, Clark Avenue.
  Mrs. Dugan and her son, Charles, were returning to Willoughby, Saturday when the accident occurred. Mrs. Dugan was rushed to the Good Samaritan hospital at Sandusky, where she passed away on Tuesday morning.
  The son was unconscious for two hours after the accident and can not recall any of the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. His injuries include painful bruises to the mouth that may result in the loss of his teeth and bruises on his leg and body.
  The family has presided in Willoughby for the past 23 years. Mrs. Dugan was a Christian Science practitioner. Two sons survive, Clark and Junior, who will continue to reside at the house.
